Cambridge Makers

Back to Activities

Cambridge Makers is the collective name for Cambridge Art Makers and Cambridge Woodwind Makers - two organisations dedicated to encouraging all kinds of making, predominantly through expert led courses. Based in Linton.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • allowing yourself time and space for creative play and making is a great way to unwind;
  • it creates connections with like minded people;
  • learning new skills keeps your brain healthy!

“Such a lovely supportive creative space to learn and be in!”

Visiting Cambridge Makers:

What to expect

Cambridge Art Makers and Cambridge Woodwind Makers offer a range of weekly and short courses – there’s something for most interests and abilities from instrument making to dressmaking, jewellery and silversmithing, stained glass and working with fabrics and textiles.

Courses are run by expert tutors, mostly practising arts and craftspeople. The well equipped workshop and studio spaces are the perfect environment to get creative. Groups are kept small so you get plenty of hands-on support and time.
