The EDGE Recovery Group

Back to Support

Held in Cambridge, this friendly peer-led support group is for anyone in recovery from alcohol dependence or substance misuse. It is a safe and supportive space which can help with relapse prevention. You'll receive non-judgemental support and advice from people who understand.

What to expect

Being part of a supportive community can help to prevent relapse and sustain long term recovery.

Recovery groups are held at The EDGE Cafe on Mondays 12-1pm and Saturdays 5-6pm. There is no need to book, just go along to the sessions you can make. The sessions are held in the Hayman Room (pictured above). When you arrive at the EDGE Café the staff will be able to direct you to the room.

The groups are run by people who have lived experience of addiction. You are very welcome to attend, whether you are looking for support and advice or just a friendly chat.

When you arrive you will receive a warm welcome and invited to take a seat around the table with others. You can share your experiences with the group if you wish, or you are also welcome to just listen if you prefer.

You are very welcome to contact Gail for a chat about the group before going along. Contact her on 07848 871323 or [email protected]
