Groups for parents with babies who are crawling and toddling, offering activities alongside support from Child and Family Centre Workers on how to support this next developmental stage. Held in Child & Family Centres across South Cambs.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- meeting other parents and carers and sharing experiences is reassuring and reduces isolation;
- getting out and about is important - for you and your baby;
- your confidence in your parenting skills will grow by observing and being around others - and professionals are available to help you with any concerns you have.

What to expect
Time to play with your crawling or toddling baby! Quieter areas for feeding and the opportunity to chat with other parents/carers as well as the Child & Family Team. Baby-weighing facilities are available for you to use. Free tea and coffee is available.

Booking is essential and can be done over the telephone, via email or Facebook messenger.
There are toilets, potties and baby-changing facilities in all venues. Prams and pushchairs may need to be left outside at some venues; when you book your place you can check.

There's a £2 charge per family per session. Please pay in cash on the day. Childminders pay £2 per childminder and own family, plus £1 for any child in their care.
Families on a low income are eligible for free entry – please have a word with one of the group leaders on the day.
