Level Up with Blossomify CIC supports young people’s mental wellbeing, learning and social integration through life skills workshops, confidence-building literacy activities and board games in a safe, supportive group setting. Sessions in Northstowe and Cambourne.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- play-based and low-pressure learning approaches increase enjoyment, motivation and positive self-esteem;
- sessions support emotional wellbeing by building confidence in speaking, reading and writing, reducing anxiety linked to school, communication and learning;
- participation promotes social connection and belonging, helping young people feel included, valued and less isolated.
“My child feels more confident speaking English and has started joining in more at school. The group is welcoming, and the board games really help him with confidence.”

What to expect
The Level Up Project is for children and young people aged 6–14 who would benefit from a supportive, welcoming space that promotes mental wellbeing, confidence and positive social connections. This includes young people with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND), those needing a learning boost or who would love to meet other children and young people from their local community. Level Up sessions are hosted by Blossomify CIC - see website for more info.
Weekly one hour sessions combine structured English and literacy learning with inclusive board games, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, listening and vocabulary, alongside teamwork, communication and confidence-building.
New participants are warmly welcomed, introduced to the group, and supported to settle in gently. Expectations are explained clearly, and young people are encouraged to participate at a pace that feels comfortable for them. No prior knowledge or skill level is required - activities are adapted to meet different abilities and confidence levels. Families can contact the team in advance if their child is feeling anxious and there is usually a consistent lead facilitator each week. As groups are small, participation is encouraged, but young people can take breaks or leave early if needed.
Advance registration is required - contact the team via email for dates, times and details or use this form.
More information
Adults leading sessions have been fully trained and Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checked.
Free parking is available nearby and venues are accessible; full details are shared on registration.
No need to bring any materials or equipment to sessions but you can bring a notebook and pen if you would like.
Water and snacks are provided.

From January - March 2026 sessions are free to encourage access but donations are welcome - there is a donation link on the website.
Carers and support workers can attend free of charge and either observe or support participation as appropriate. However, due to safeguarding and the comfort of the the whole group, other than in the first session, parents can only check on their child or young person intermittently so other children and young people don't feel that they are being observed.

From April 2026, some activities will require parents to pay a membership fee to access learning sessions.
