Located in the Community Centre in Duxford, Café 19 is a roomy, dog-friendly and lively place to meet friends or grab coffee or a bite to eat.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • it’s good to get out and about;
  • you can work, study, meet friends or be alone in company in a café;
  • cafés are often at the heart of the community and it feels good to support them.

“It’s got a friendly atmosphere and is staffed by local people. It’s open on Sundays and is perfect for those weekends when I can’t be bothered to cook a roast dinner for one person!”

What to expect

Café 19 is a friendly place where you can have a drink, a snack or even a cooked meal. Run by Paul, everyone is welcome – whether you have babies or young children (or even dogs) in tow.

Menus vary daily but whether you are there for a drink, or afternoon tea or a Sunday roast (please note that roast dinners aren’t available over the summer months), there’s something for everyone.

The Cafe is wheelchair friendly, with wide front doors and a disabled toilet.

It is open  Monday – Saturday (9am – 4pm) and on Sundays (10 am – 3pm, with roast dinners from 3.30-6pm. Booking recommended for Sundays as it gets busy!
