Child & Family Centres – Baby Groups

Back to Activities

Groups for non-mobile babies and their new parents and parents-to-be alongside support and advice from the Child & Family Centre team. Held in Family Centres and other venues across South Cambs.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • meeting other parents and carers and sharing experiences is reassuring and reduces isolation;
  • getting out and about is important in the early weeks and months;
  • your confidence in your parenting skills will grow by observing and being around others – and professionals are available to help you with any concerns you have.

“I’ve been suffering (in silence) with post natal depression and the group really has made me get up and out. Staff welcome us every week with lovely smiles, they take an interest into both our lives and generally just brighten our day! We’ve both made friends and would recommend it to everyone.”
