Child & Family Centres - Chatter Tots

Back to Activities

A weekly targeted group for children with emerging or diagnosed SEND needs to support development in all areas with an emphasis on communication skills, suitable for 2+ yrs. You don't have to live in Cambourne to attend.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • meeting other parents and carers and sharing experiences is reassuring and reduces isolation;
  • it's good to get out and about;
  • your confidence will grow by observing and being around others - and trained volunteers are available to help you with any concerns you have.

What to expect

These playful, stimulating and supportive play sessions are for pre-school children who have emerging or diagnosed additional needs and disabilities. Siblings are also welcome to attend. There are messy activities so please dress your child in clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

Baby-weighing facilities are available for you to use.
