Child & Family Centres - Multiple Births Group

Back to Activities

A Stay and Play session for parents and carers of twins, triplets and more aged 0-5 years held in Cambourne. You don't have to live in Cambourne to attend.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • meeting other parents and carers and sharing experiences is reassuring and reduces isolation;
  • Stay and Play activities are an excellent way to support your children's development and learning;
  • your confidence will grow by observing and being around others - and professionals are available to help you with any concerns you have.

What to expect

A range of toys, play equipment and activities are available in ‘stations’ for your children to explore and play with. There could be messy activities so please dress your children in something you don’t mind getting dirty.

There’s a quieter baby area with wiggle mats, baby toys and cushions, and you can use this area for feeding. Self-weigh facilities are available during sessions if you’d like to weigh your babies.

Some Stay and Play groups include circle-time for rhymes, stories and singing. Please bring along some fruit or vegetables to be shared by the group at snack time.

Children do need to be supervised but you can still meet/chat with other parents/carers.
