Child & Family Centres - Story with Tori

Back to Activities

A weekly storytime session led by Tori, a Child and Family Centre Worker. Suitable for children aged 0-5 years and held in Cambourne’s newly refurbished library.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • meeting other parents and carers and sharing experiences is reassuring and reduces isolation;
  • listening to stories and being around books and language is a great basis for early learning;
  • your confidence will grow by observing and being around others - and professionals are available to help you with any concerns you have.

What to expect

Tori, from the Child & Family Centre, reads stories and shows pictures from a range of age-appropriate books that you can borrow from the library and read at home.

Children do need to be supervised but you can still meet/chat with other parents/carers.
