Community Hubs

Back to Activities

Run within existing community spaces throughout South Cambs, Community Hubs provide a safe and friendly environment in which to connect with others. With free refreshments, activities, information and advice, everyone is welcome regardless of age or circumstances.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • connecting with others prevents feelings of loneliness and isolation;
  • in colder months, Community Hubs provide somewhere to stay warm;
  • volunteering at a Community Hub feels good!

Visiting Willingham Community Hub:

What to expect

Community Hubs are friendly places to help you stay connected. Community Hubs offer light refreshments and somewhere to socialise. You can access information on how to reduce bills, find out about additional financial support as well as how to stay healthy and well. Activities and services at Community Hubs are run by trained local volunteers.

Community Hubs are accessible for those with mobility issues. You can visit as many times as you like and stay for as long as the Hub is open, or you can head off anytime. No need to book, just turn up.
