Fen Edge Voices in Cottenham is an inclusive community choir for anyone aged 18+ who would like to sing in a group - you don't need to read music, audition or even consider yourself to be a good singer!
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- singing in a group releases feel-good hormones that boost your mood;
- learning something new and improving every week is motivating;
- being part of a choir is a friendly, welcoming and supportive way to get to know other people.

What to expect
Fen Edge Voices rehearse every Tuesday during term time from 7.30-9.30pm in the back hall at Cottenham Community Centre (check the website for dates). You can arrive any time from 7pm and there's a short break half way through the session (bring your own drinks and snacks).
Everyone over the age of 18 is welcome - there are no auditions and no musical experience is needed. The choir sings a wide range of styles, including pop, rock, soul, gospel and even a little classical. Songs are learned by ear, but sheet music is available to members when you sign up and gain access to the members' only area of the website.
There may be public performances by the choir but it isn't compulsory to attend.
