Art Group – Lifecraft

Back to Activities

Lifecraft is a user-led organisation for adults in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough who have experience of mental health difficulties. They run a weekly art group where you can get creative with a range of materials in a supportive environment. No previous experience required!

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • producing artwork is a mindful activity which can help you to relax;
  • being creative can help you express yourself and discover new talents;
  • you will meet new people in a friendly space, where there is no pressure to chat.

“Art is very joyful and relaxing. It helps you bring light into a dark room. I love art as it is fun and creative, but also we have a lot of laughs.”

What to expect?

The Art Group is a weekly group where you can use a range of art materials to work on your own projects or learn new skills and techniques with the guidance of an experienced art tutor.

The Art Group is held at The Bath House in Cambridge (on the corner of Gwydir Street and Mill Road, opposite St Barnabas Church.)

There is a bus stop a short walk away, and Cambridge train station is nearby. There is a short term pay and display car park directly behind The Bath House and limited options for street parking around Mill Road.
