Do More, Waste Less with PECT

Back to Activities

The BLUEPRINT team at PECT are delivering free sustainability workshops to help individuals, groups & businesses in Cambridgeshire recycle more and reduce waste. It’s a great opportunity for personal and professional development, to try something new & learn about sustainability.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • it gives you the opportunity to focus your energy on creating positive change for future generations;
  • you can learn new things that will motivate you to get involved with the transition to a circular economy;
  • PECT are a friendly bunch and they’d love for you to have some fun, broaden your mind and get involved in working towards a sustainable future. All good for the soul!

What to expect?

The BLUEPRINT team will use this workshop to tell you about sustainability and the Circular Economy. There will be a workbook to complete alongside the presentation, with opportunities for discussion in pairs or groups. You can join a workshop by phone or email – we are very friendly, we can discuss with you a date, time and place that suits you best.

When you attend a workshop, all you will need is yourself and some way of taking notes. You are welcome to dress however you like as it is not a formal event. The BLUEPRINT team want you to feel comfortable! Workshops will be delivered at different places, so information about facilities (parking and accessibility) will be shared during the booking process. Feel free to give them a call or drop them an email if you have any questions.

More information

PECT, a sustainability charity in Peterborough, is currently working on a project called ‘BLUEPRINT to a Circular Economy’. BLUEPRINT has partners throughout England and France, and aims to help councils, communities and businesses recycle more and reduce waste.

They are offering a free sustainability workshop based on the Circular Economy to Peterborough and Cambridgeshire residents as part of BLUEPRINT. The Circular Economy aims to help us move away from wasteful systems and promotes the reduce, reuse and recycling of materials. The workshop is a great way to find out more about what a sustainable future looks like.

There are an additional three online training sessions following the workshop. You will also get access to these upon completion of the workshop. Please get in touch with the team if you have any concerns around travel or attending in-person. They are happy to support alternative arrangements.

This activity is free to attend.
