Sol Creative Foundry is an artist-first, community-led creative hub in Dry Drayton offering a range of workshops, exhibitions, talks and classes that support wellbeing and creativity.

What to expect
Designed for artists to work, exhibit, host workshops and connect, Sol Creative Foundry brings together studios, collaborative work areas, a curated gallery and wellbeing-led creative sessions.
Creative courses and workshops are a chance to develop a skill, work with materials, and be taught by experts. They cover a range of disciplines, from lettercarving and art history to printmaking and ceramics. Some run over a single day, others across several weeks. Small groups mean there is space to ask questions and make mistakes without feeling rushed. You do not need any experience to join most courses.
Wellbeing sessions, such as sound baths and meditation, provide a calm and supportive space within which to relax and re-charge.

Where do sessions take place?
Sessions are held in Unit 5 of the Irwin Centre, just off Scotland Road in Dry Drayton. It is an accessible building. Toilets are available. There is a large, free car park with lots of spaces. If you have mobility issues, please get in touch so that your needs can be accommodated.
What should I wear / bring?
For creative workshops and courses, wear clothes that you don't mind getting messy. All materials are provided unless otherwise stated when you book. If it is a full-day workshop, bring a packed lunch and snacks. Tea, coffee and water is available.
For wellbeing sessions wear comfortable clothing you can move easily in. If you need to bring other equipment, you will be told when you book.
Can I bring a carer / parent / guest / social prescriber?
Carers or companions are very welcome to attend but if they will be taking part and using materials, they will need to pay when you book.
The cost of courses and workshops is on the website and is payable when you book online.
Exhibitions and open days are free.
