Frazzled Fridays

Back to Activities

Frazzled Fridays is a weekly meet-up for parents and carers in and around Barnwell and Fen Ditton. Drop in for a hot drink and breakfast and get support with any difficulties you are facing by talking to a professional who can offer advice and signpost you to other services.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • you will connect with other members of your local community;
  • talking through difficulties you are experiencing will help you feel less alone;
  • you will be able to get support, advice and information about other services.

What to expect

Frazzled Fridays is a free community group which offers an inclusive and informal safe space to talk, connect with other parents and carers and take time for yourself.

You can speak one-to-one with a professional who will be able to offer support with any issues you are experiencing in your family. For example, relationship difficulties, anxiety, or dealing with challenging behaviour. They will be able to support you, and also direct you to other people who can help.

There is no referral needed to attend the group and you don’t need to book ahead – just go along! Children are welcome and there will be toys for them to play with.

Frazzled Fridays is run by Cambridge Acorn Project in partnership with Abbey People.
