A weekly community café where people can come together over cake, chat and a hot drink. Organised by volunteers from Great Shelford Free Church, you don't have to be a village resident to attend.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- it's a great way to meet people from the local community;
- it's a relaxed space where you can chat or just 'be';
- it's a good way to get out of the house and have something to do every week.
"The volunteers who run the café are so welcoming and friendly!"
"May all who enter as guests leave as our friends."

What to expect
Taking place every Monday from 10am to 12 noon, Great Shelford Free Church Community Café provides a safe, warm and friendly environment where people in the local community can socialise with others, join in with activities or seek advice if needed. No need to book, just drop-in.
The Café is for people of all faiths and none, but there is a short five minute 'thought for the day' talk that shares a Christian message from one of the members of the Church.
More information
The venue is wheelchair accessible and there is limited disabled parking. There are accessible toilets.
Great Shelford Free Church also runs Cara Coffee, a social enterprise run in support of local youth charity, Romsey Mill. Find out more on this How Are You South Cambs & Royston webpage.

Light refreshments such as tea, coffee, cake and biscuits are provided for free - but donations are welcome.
