Heartwatch Exercise Classes are for anyone with a heart condition or cardiovascular disease. The initial assessment and exercise plan are free and then in-person and online classes are subsidised. For any South Cambs resident.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- improved cardiovascular fitness will make you feel stronger and healthier;
- regular exercise boosts mood;
- making exercise part of your weekly routine helps you keep active.
“I have a specific exercise programme designed for me. As a result, I can walk further without getting breathless, I feel stronger and happier. Thank you, Christine, for being so lovely!”
“Thank you for showing me that the equipment is not scary and making me more confident. Thank you for allowing us to laugh and joke and, if we feel low in energy, to do less and adapt our exercise.”
