If you are an older person living in or around Histon or Impington, HI Friends Lunch Club is a place to enjoy hot food, meet people and take part in activities.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- meeting people can make us feel less alone;
- it's good not to have to cook and wash up;
- getting out of the house and doing something different can be daunting but the sense of achievement afterwards feels great.

What to expect
When you arrive you will be warmly welcomed and offered a cup of tea or coffee. Activities vary from session to session, but can include quizzes, games, bingo, arts, crafts and singing along to tunes from the keyboard. There is always a delicious home-cooked lunch and pudding made by volunteers, using fresh produce.

Transport can be arranged if you live locally. If you are driving or being dropped off there is plenty of free parking next to the centre.
The venue is wheelchair accessible.
