HI Friends Rec Monday Club – Specialist Exercise

Back to Activities

Delivered in partnership with PosAbility, this exercise class is for people recovering from strokes or living with neurological conditions whilst providing time out for their carers. You don't have to live in Histon or Impington to take part.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • these sessions are a good way to meet new people with similar experiences;
  • qualified instructors will support you to achieve as much as you can;
  • physical wellbeing is important for mental wellbeing.

What to expect

Held at Histon & Impington Recreation Ground Centre every Monday, these exercise classes are for people recovering from strokes or living with neurological conditions. Classes include group exercise as well as individual activities tailored to your abilities. Sociable and supportive, you will make new friends as you strengthen your body and stimulate your mind.

Carers can take a break knowing their companion will be well looked after.
