Histon & Impington Day Centre and HI Friends HubBack to Activities
Histon & Impington Day Centre and HI Friends Hub provides a safe, friendly environment for older people and those living with memory loss. Open twice a week, it offers a hot home-cooked meal, activities and friendship. Transport can be provided on request.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- meeting people who have similar experiences can make us feel less alone;
- visiting Histon & Impington Day Centre gives carers/family respite;
- getting out of the house and doing something different can be daunting but the sense of achievement afterwards feels great.
