Line dancing is ideal if you want to improve your coordination and balance - you get a great work-out whilst having fun (it's sociable too!). This class in Cottenham is for anyone of any ability.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • improving your physical fitness boosts your mental health;
  • exercise is a great stress-buster;
  • it’s addictive so you’ll want to exercise more!

What to expect

There are two line dancing classes, one for beginners where you’ll learn the basics and an intermediate class for those with more experience. Line dancing is suitable for all ages and abilities but you do need fairly good mobility and to be able to stand and move for an hour. You don’t need a partner to line dance, and solo dancers are very welcome.

Line dancing is so much fun you won’t even notice what a great workout you are getting!

No need to book – just show up wearing trainers and pay on the door (cash or card).

Bring a bottle of water, it’s thirsty work!
