The Lunch Club at Over Day Centre is an opportunity for older people to get together and share a delicious two course meal on a Monday.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- it gets you out of the house and the week off to a good start;
- meeting others might lead to new friendships;
- sharing a delicious, nutritious and good value cooked meal (with no washing up) feels good.

What to expect
Every Monday (except Bank Holidays) from 12.30-1.30pm, you can enjoy a freshly prepared two-course lunch (main course and pudding) at Over Day Centre.

Book ahead by phoning or emailing – special dietary requirements and allergies can be catered for if requested. No transport is provided but there is ample free parking. Over Day Centre is fully wheelchair accessible and you can bring a carer or support worker along too.
You don’t have to be a regular attender at Over Day Centre to go to the Lunch Club, and you don’t have to be a resident of Over either.
Meals cost £10 per person. Payment by cash or cheque preferred – you can pay by card, but a small fee will be added to the transaction.
