MiniMe Mindfulness nurtures the holistic wellbeing of pre and primary school children by providing positive mindset and mindfulness courses and sessions via schools, nurseries and communities in Cambridge and South Cambs.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- MiniMe Mindfulness explores ‘superpowers’ that we can call on to support us, building a toolkit of life skills that support mental health and wellbeing;
- MiniMe Mindfulness builds mental habits that increase positivity and resilience, aiming to rewire the brain’s tendency to focus on the negative by promoting a ‘growth mindset’;
- sessions are all about having fun with other children by playing games together, moving to music, listening to stories and doing crafts, promoting social skills and helping to form friendships.
“My seven year old boy attended a day at the half term holiday club. Not only did he came home armed with two beautiful and attentively made crafts to remember the two superpowers that he learnt (gratitude and affirmation), but also he clearly enjoyed the games and had loads of fun – he was already asking if he could go back again next holiday!”

What to expect
Led by Kate, a former primary school teacher and children’s book author/illustrator, MiniMe Mindfulness provides accessible, effective and innovative positive mindset and mindfulness courses and sessions via schools, nurseries and communities.
By teaching ‘superpowers’ such as meditation, breathing, affirmations, vision and mindful movement, MiniMe Mindfulness fosters self awareness, emotional resilience, focus and courage in children. Sessions create a fun and engaging environment using stories, music, games, crafts and team activities where children can develop essential life skills, cultivating a sense of inner peace, calm and happiness. The aim is to empower children to navigate their emotions confidently, build positive relationships with themselves and others, and help them thrive in their personal and academic lives.
