Monkfield Medical Practice Arts and Crafts Group

Back to Activities

This Cambourne-based group is an opportunity to have a go at lots of different types of arts and crafts in a friendly setting.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • it is supportive and encouraging;
  • you’ll learn new skills;
  • you’ll meet new people.

“It gets me out, gets me working with a group of people which is really nice and makes me feel useful.”

“Following my recent diagnosis I was feeling a little bit useless and now I have more purpose in life.”

Run by Sandra, the Social Prescribing Link Worker, this friendly group meets every two weeks on a Wednesday from 2-4pm to paint, draw, craft and chat. To find out when the next session is email the Personalised Care Team at Monkfield Medical Practice.
