Open Water Swimming

There are a number of places you can try open water swimming in South Cambs, but a good place to start is with an organised group:

Milton Country Park

Bookable sessions are available for open water swimming at Milton Country Park – open water swimming is not permitted at other times. These sessions are open to adults over the age of 18 and juniors (by arrangement).

Waterbeach Lake

Bookable open water swimming sessions are available for open water swimming at Waterbeach Lake– open water swimming is not permitted at other times.

Waresley Park Lake

Within the grounds of Waresley Park estate is a lake. Attendees must be over 14 and under 18’s must be supervised by an adult. On arrival at the estate, follow the signs to the Bean Theory car park. Once parked, walk down the gravel track on your left, below the vineyard. After a 5-minute stroll through the estate, a lifeguard will be at the lake to meet you.
