Rampton Telephone Box Exchange

Back to Activities

An old-fashioned red telephone box by the village green is where books, puzzles, plants and seedlings can be exchanged for free by people in and around Rampton.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • giving something you no longer want to someone who will appreciate it feels good;
  • if you are stuck for something to do, you can pick up a free puzzle or book – much better for the environment and your pocket than buying something new;
  • shared resources based on principles of trust foster goodwill and community spirit.
