Roofed by Sky

Back to Activities

Nature-based play, learning and connection with a range of outdoor activities and events for all ages and abilities in Histon and Milton Country Park.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • regular time spent outdoors and in green spaces has proven benefits for mental and physical health;
  • connecting with others through learning, play, creating and talking feels good and combats social isolation;
  • new skills can be learned at a gentle pace whilst embedding a deeper understanding of each other and our place in the universe.

"I spent the morning in the woods with Lorraine and Vicky plus about ten pre-schoolers and their parents. It was a beautiful bright day and we sang, talked, played and learned about the world around us. I felt relaxed and happy for the rest of the day!"
