Skate Parks

Back to Activities

A skate park is a purpose-built space designed for activities like skateboarding, BMX biking, scootering, and inline skating. There are outdoor skate parks of different sizes and with varying features that are free to use in South Cambs.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • skateboarding and associated activities are a great way to improve physical fitness;
  • skate parks are social spaces where you can meet others outdoors;
  • learning new tricks and skills boosts confidence and is a great way to de-stress.

What to expect

Bring your own wheels and safety gear. All of the skate parks are outdoors and are not always near toilets or places to get food and drink.
