A range of in-person First Aid, Mental Health First Aid and Animal First Aid training delivered to people aged 16+ in venues throughout Cambridgeshire, alongside online training.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- knowing what to do if someone is facing a health emergency is empowering;
- learning is great way to boost brain health, confidence and self-esteem;
- training is delivered to groups so you will meet other people with similar interests in a supportive and accessible learning environment.

What to expect
The Bridge First Aid Training offers a range of accredited in-person First Aid, Mental Health First Aid and Animal First Aid training in a variety of community-based venues in South Cambs, as well as online courses. Training is accessible, engaging and supportive - all courses are suitable for beginners (except for refreshers or re-qualification training).
There is no role play and you'll be provided with clear explanations about each of the practical activities and interactive group exercises. When you book, you will receive an email with more information about the course, but if you are anxious about attending you can contact Jenny (who set up The Bridge First Aid Training) for more information.

All equipment and learning materials are provided.
You will need to attend the course in full to receive certification.
More information
The venues used are all accessible community buildings with accessible toilets and parking. If you have mobility or access requirements, please contact Jenny via email and she will give you a call to discuss your needs in advance of the session.
Refreshments are provided but bring lunch and snacks.
A good level of English speaking and understanding is expected.
Under 18s will be required to provide consent from a parent or guardian.
