Trumpington Meadows Community Hub is a space for people of all ages to create connections through fun, food and friendship. There are hot drinks, brunch, a stay and play session for children plus storytelling, singing and crafts for all ages. Everyone is welcome.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • it is a relaxed space where people of all ages can socialise and have fun;
  • you can meet new people and try new things;
  • you can receive practical and emotional support from professionals for things that might be worrying you.

Walking into Trumpington Meadows Community Hub:

What to expect

Trumpington Meadows Community Hub runs most Friday mornings at Trumpington Meadows Primary School. It is a chance to get to know people in your local community. Tea, coffee and brunch are provided, including porridge, croissants, fresh fruit and yoghurt.

People of all ages are very welcome to join. Each week there is an opportunity for adults to take part in different activities including storytelling, singing, and different crafts. There is also a stay and play session for pre-schoolers and their parents/carers.

You will always find a listening ear and support for wellbeing and mental health struggles you may be experiencing. Housing association bpha will also be able to support with housing issues, and the organisers are also able to signpost to financial and food support.

Specialist support sessions are also run on certain weeks, covering topics such as women’s health, digital skills, parenting, fitness for older people, cooking and adult well-being.

There is free pre-loved clothing available for 0–2-year-olds, and a Community Pantry providing free recipes and ingredients.
