Wandlebury Country Park – Mindful Meander

Back to Activities

Learn the health-enhancing life skill of walking in silence in nature with like-minded people in Wandlebury Country Park.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • it’s an opportunity to slow down the busy pace of life, by walking slow enough to observe nature’s beauty and reframe life’s stresses with greater perspective;
  • breathe fresh air with gentle exercise, accessible to those with reduced mobility;
  • meet new friends over a hot drink and share experiences.

“David’s walk helped me to recover from a very stressful period in my life with a gentle combination of wise guidance, listening and creating a space to meet others.”

What to expect

These mindful walks, led by David, are an opportunity to be quiet and present in nature whilst enjoying the changing weather and seasons.

David offers simple mindfulness guidance at the beginning of the walk, and will hold a space at the end for gentle sharing of experiences over a refreshing drink from the coffee van.
