Set in 120 acres of countryside near Gamlingay, Waresley Park Estate offers wild swimming & paddleboarding in a freshwater lake; relaxing spa treatments; a spacious café; and exercise classes including yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi. Padel courts are available to book too.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- wild (or open water) swimming has many reputed health benefits for body and mind - supervised sessions mean that you will be safe if you are trying it for the first time or if you are not a confident swimmer;
- many of the exercise and spa sessions focus on relaxation and de-stressing - whether you book a massage, a floating soundbath experience or a yoga class;
- you could spend the whole day at Waresley Park Estate - why not meet a friend for a spa treatment, exercise class, wild swimming session and then have lunch or dinner at the café?
