Wellbeing Café – Royston

Back to Activities

The Wellbeing Café offers a friendly & non-judgmental space for over 18s who may be experiencing mental health challenges. Hosted by Trinity Life Church in Royston, it is a place where it is OK not to be OK, and is open to people of all faiths and none.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • meeting people who have similar experiences can make us feel less alone;
  • finding other sources of support can be overwhelming and there will be volunteers there who may be able to help you find what you need;
  • getting out of the house on difficult days can be tough, but the sense of achievement afterwards is amazing.

What to expect

Held every Wednesday,  the Wellbeing Café is for anyone feeling isolated, lonely or overwhelmed. Carers and family members are also welcome.

You will get a friendly hello and be offered refreshments. You can meet & chat with others or sit quietly and just ‘be’ if you prefer. It is a supportive space, but it is not group therapy.

If you are a parent or carer, you are welcome to bring babies and toddlers along – there’s a play corner with toys and books.
