What to expect:
You can contact this service via email, telephone or via live chat on their website, no referral is needed. When you contact B-United you will be treated with respect, in a confidential way and with no judgement.
Once you have contacted them you will be assigned a member of staff who will work with you to identify what support you need. The support provided can take many forms, including:
- emotional support
- practical support
- help with leaving a relationship
- advocating on behalf of a survivor of abuse
- signposting to other agencies where needed.
They can also offer support and guidance to professionals who want to learn more about domestic abuse and how it affects male victims.

B-United is run by Peterborough Women’s Aid, a local charity with years of experience supporting survivors of domestic abuse and violence.
B-United can offer short-term and long-term support to men who may be experiencing or have previously experienced domestic abuse, whether you have children or not.
They can offer you advice and guidance on a range of situations and they can also signpost you to relevant services in your local area.
B-United is a county-wide provision covering all areas of Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Huntingdon and Fenland. Their staff will be able to provide you with support via telephone, email, text / WhatsApp, or virtually through Microsoft Teams / Zoom.
They can offer emotional support, practical support, support with court and other meetings, and access to a specialist domestic abuse counsellor.
