Meeting on the second Monday of every month between 10-11.30am, with support from a Social Prescribing Link Worker and the Hub team. For anyone caring for a friend, neighbour, partner or family member, even if you aren’t a patient with Maple Surgery in Bar Hill.
Qualified Mental Health First Aiders can support you by offering a free and confidential listening ear in a safe and private space. Whatever challenges you are facing, sometimes just talking them over can make a difference.
Health & Wellbeing
On the first and third Monday of each month, you can seek advice and guidance on your health and wellbeing from an experienced coach. There are occasional guest speakers on related topics too.
A great way to connect with others, start a conversation and learn to play chess with people happy to teach you this wonderful game.
Support for Asylum Seekers
Good quality children’s and adult clothing and shoes can be dropped off for distribution, typically on the third Monday of the month (please email ahead to check).
Bar Hill Hub takes place every Monday from 10am to 12 noon in the Octagon, which is part of the church. You don’t have to be a church-goer to attend – it is free and open to everyone. It is fully accessible with toilets, baby-changing facilities and a kitchen.
Services, support and refreshments are free.
Citizens Advice sessions are free (book in advance).
