The Families Information Service is run by Cambridgeshire County Council. It provides free information and advice to families across Cambridgeshire about childcare, including childcare for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

What to expect
Providing impartial information, advice and guidance to families to find childcare, understand childcare funding options, find childcare for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and to understand the SEND Local Offer in Cambridgeshire.
Families living outside Cambridgeshire looking for childcare within Cambridgeshire can also access this service.
It can also provide individualised support for families with children and young people aged 0 to 25 with SEND to find childcare places through their SEND brokerage offer. To apply for this service click here.

The service is open Monday to Thursday 9:00am – 5pm & Friday 9:00am to 3:00pm
They aim to respond to all queries within three working days
