Digital Hubs

What to expect

Digital Hubs are welcoming community spaces where you can get practical help with anything digital, whether that’s learning how to use a device, accessing the internet, using online services, or building confidence with everyday digital tasks.

Each Hub offers:

• Free Wi‑Fi
• Access to laptops, tablets or personal computers (PCs)
• Support from friendly staff or volunteers
• Guidance on using online services such as healthcare, housing, benefits, job applications and more
• A relaxed, local space where you can learn at your own pace

Hubs are run by a variety of trusted community organisations across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. They’re designed to help people stay connected, save money, access opportunities and feel more confident online.

The Digital Hub programme is part of Connecting Cambridgeshire’s work to tackle digital exclusion.

Here is a list of the Hubs that are open in South Cambs in association with Cambridgeshire Acre:

Caldecote Community Hub – Caldecote Pavilion, Furlong Way, Highfields, Caldecote, Cambridge, CB23 7ZH. Opens: Tuesday, 10am – 4pm

Horningsea Community Hub – Horningsea Pavilion, King’s Farm, High Street, Horningsea, Cambridge, CB25 9JG. Opens: Monday, 10.30am – 12.00 noon

Melbourn ‘MACS Cozy Corner’ Community Hub – Vicarage Close Community Hall, Vicarage Close, Melbourn, Royston, SG8 6DY. Opens: Monday and Thursday, 12pm – 3pm

Meldreth Community Hub – Meldreth Sheltered Housing Building, Elin Way, Meldreth, Royston, SG8 6LX. Opens: Tuesday and Thursday, 12pm – 3pm

The Digital Hubs are free to use.
