What to expect
The Diversion Support Team (DST) is a new team within the Youth Justice Service at Cambridgeshire County Council. They will listen to your needs and support you to create a positive future – by finding, with you, the next steps on your journey.
The team carry out targeted work on a range of issues, such as dealing with emotions, positive decision-making, and personal goals. They can help you with issues at school such as attendance, behaviour, or being at risk of exclusion. They can also support with home life, friends and relationships issues, or issues that have happened whilst out and about with friends.
Positive activities include:
- days out;
- sports like boxing;
- free gym sessions;
- vouchers for taking part in events;
- opportunities to win vouchers for shops like JD Sports;
- skills development for the future such as first aid and barista training.
