The Falls Prevention Service offered by Healthy You includes assessment and exercise programmes to support you to increase your strength, stability and confidence if you have had a fall or feel unsteady on your feet.

Many people experience falls or become unsteady on their feet for a variety of reasons as they get older.

Healthy You offer a Falls Prevention Service for anyone aged 65 or over who may have a history of falling, be fearful of falling, or feel unsteady on their feet. Healthy You offers a Multi Factorial Falls Risk Assessment which helps to identify risks falls and hazards. Also on offer is evidence-based exercise classes that are proven to improve stability and reduce falls risk. Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust’s (CPFT) Community Rehabilitation team work closely with Healthy You to deliver Falls Prevention assessments and interventions – there’s more information about this service here.

Healthy You is funded and commissioned by Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council to provide healthy lifestyle support to people living in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
