Health Trainer: Healthy You

Back to Support

If you would like to improve your health and wellbeing, Healthy You have a team of Health Trainers who can help you to make positive changes. Work one-to-one with a Health Trainer who will give you tailored support and help you to meet your goals.

Kerry explains what Health Trainers do for you:

Healthy You can support you to make changes and lead a healthier life. If you sign up for this service you will be assigned your own Health Trainer who will meet you for six sessions of healthy lifestyle support. They can help you with many elements of your health, including:

  • Healthy eating
  • Losing weight
  • Increasing physical activity
  • Reducing stress
  • Sexual health concerns

On the first session you will meet your Health Trainer to talk about what changes you would like to make, and they will guide you to set realistic goals. On follow-up sessions they will offer support and understanding to help you reach these goals.

The Health Trainer service is open to anyone who lives in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough aged 16 + who wants to make a healthy lifestyle change.

This service is free. Find out more on the Healthy You website or arrange a chat by calling, emailing or texting Healthy You.

Healthy You is funded and commissioned by Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council to provide healthy lifestyle support to people living in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. To find out about the other services they offer visit the Healthy You page.
