What to expect
Held on the second Thursday of every month (2-4pm) at Tawa Lounge, this friendly group meets for a cuppa and a chat. Hosted by Jo Franklin and Paul Seekings of HI Friends, it is informal opportunity for unpaid carers who look after adults – friends, family members, neighbours – to get together and support each other. You can chat to Jo and Paul about other support that is available for you and the person you care for from HI Friends. Jo and Paul can also signpost you to other local services. Sometimes guest speakers will join to share relevant information.

You don’t have to be a resident of Histon and Impington to attend. No need to book, just turn up – you can contact Paul in advance to check dates/times.
Tawa Lounge is wheelchair accessible and there is free parking at the rear of the building.
Attending the Carer Café is free.
Refreshments can be purchased from Tawa Lounge.
