What to expect
Little People UK provides support for anyone with a connection to dwarfism, whether it be a person with dwarfism, a family member, friend or an informal carer. All are welcome to attend any events.
They do this in a number of different ways:
- providing information and support;
- holding a range of events - both online and in-person;
- networking with other organisations to build knowledge and understanding;
- raising awareness with professionals around the UK to ensure support is throughout a person's lifetime.
When attending an in-person event you will be welcomed by a member of the team, and online there will be an introduction. The team can meet you before sessions individually if this would be beneficial and all newcomers are welcome. Online events include a youth group and online cuppa and chat via Zoom - see website for dates and details.
There are a number of different ways to sign up, events will be signposted on social media, the website and newsletter (for members). You are always more than welcome to get in touch with Little People UK directly for information, support or guidance.
