What to expect
The Family and Friends Support Group is a confidential safe space where you can take some time for yourself and connect with other people with similar experiences. The groups are run by people who have lived experience of supporting people affected by alcohol and/or substance use. You are very welcome to attend, whether you are looking for support and advice or just a friendly chat.
The group meets at The EDGE Cafe from 6.30-8pm on alternate Monday evenings. Find out the date of the next meeting by following the link to the current timetable on this webpage.
There is no need to book, just go along to the sessions you can make. The sessions are held in the main cafe area. When you arrive the staff will be able to direct you to the group. You will receive a warm welcome and be invited to take a seat around the table with others. You can share your experiences with the group if you wish, or you are welcome to just listen if you prefer.
You are very welcome to contact Gail for a chat about the group before going along. Contact her on 07848 871323 or [email protected]
