What to expect
Cambridge Bootcamps run sixteen bootcamp sessions each week across four locations in South Cambs and Cambridge. Sessions involve a varied mix of strength, core and cardio work delivered by a team of five qualified instructors using a wide range of equipment. All bootcamp sessions take place outside and last 45 minutes.
Bootcamps are an all-weather exercise session so it is important to arrive prepared – wet weather waterproof clothing in the rain, hats and sun cream in hot weather. Trail shoes or walking shoes/boots are best in the winter months and trainers with grip in the dry summer months. Choose comfortable clothing you can move freely in, such as sportswear. A bottle of water to stay hydrated is also a good idea.
There is free parking and access to toilets at all locations.
If you aren’t confident about your fitness levels, you might like to start with a Walking Bootcamp session – same exercise benefits and teamwork but at a slower pace.
