Attached to Cambourne Church, Catherine Price is Cambourne's Parish Nurse. She works with people of all ages and backgrounds, of any religion or none, offering support with a range of health-related issues and medical matters.

What to expect
Catherine is a registered nurse who works part-time (on Thursdays and Fridays) in a voluntary capacity as the parish nurse for Cambourne. Her role includes:
- giving general health advice or health education;
- signposting local sources of support;
- accompanying people to health appointments and clarifying things that may be complex or difficult to take in;
- acting as an advocate if someone is concerned their needs aren’t understood;
- simply listening.
Her focus is on the person, rather than just a specific medical condition. Catherine also runs a Health & Wellbeing Club for older adults in Cambourne Church Annexe on the first and third Friday of each month (10.30-12 noon), school term time only. This includes talks, exercises and time to chat.

You don’t need to be a church-goer to ask for Catherine’s help but you do need to be a resident of Cambourne parish.
