There are a number of national and local organisations that can help you manage your finances and get out of debt. All of them offer free, confidential and non-judgemental advice and support.

Citizen's Advice offers a range of in person advice and signposting sessions in Cambridge and at various community venues in South Cambs. Find out more on this link.

South Cambs District Council’s Income Maximisation Service doesn’t give debt advice, but if you are concerned that you are at risk of losing your home due to non-payment of rent or mortgage and you live in South Cambs, then they can check you are receiving the benefits and discounts you may be entitled to. They can also help you budget your finances more effectively to prevent getting into debt. Email [email protected] or call 01954 713000 or complete this online referral form.

Money Wellness is a free service regulated by the FCA and commissioned by the national Government's Money & Pensions Service to provide:

StepChange is a national debt charity that can help you be free from debt. A team of experts offer free, flexible debt advice to anyone who needs it. Visit www.stepchange.org or speak to an advisor on 0800 138 1111. Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm.

Anglian Water’s Extra Care Support helps customers who are finding keeping up with their bills challenging. They can help with everything from finding discounted tariffs to managing payments to debt. The Extra Care Assessments also signposts any additional benefits or services you may be eligible for.
